Dr Sukanya (Suki) Muraledaran

Suki has experience in all areas of general practice. She has advanced qualifications in the areas of skin cancer detection and minor surgical procedures and Psychological Medicine and Mental Health. Suki speaks Thamil & Sinhala.

Dr Lahiru (La) Silva

La has a specialist qualification in general practice with a wide array of interests. He is especially interested in occupational medicine and skin cancers. He is well qualified in Skin Cancer detection and management.In his spare time, La loves to watch sports, especially Cricket and Rugby and he is also a movie buff! La also speaks Sinhala

Dr Priyani Karunaratne

Priyani has a specialist qualification in General Practice. She has a broad range of interests including Occupational Health, Aged Care, Mental Health, Chronic disease management, Women’s Health and Paediatrics. Priyani is able to speak fluent Sinhala

Dr David Court

David has a keen interest in general practice. He completed the Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health at Monash University, and also has many years experience in Aged Care and Travel Medicine.

Dr Shmerling

Dr Arnold Shmerling

Arnold is well qualified in all areas of general practice. He has extensive experience in Occupational Medicine and advanced qualifications in Travel Medicine. Arnold speaks Hebrew, Yiddish & basic French

Dr Penelope Martin

Penny enjoys all aspects of family medicine. Her special interests include Psychological Medicine and Women’s Health. She has advanced training in each of these areas.

Dr Wendy Ah Sang

Wendy has a broad range of general practice experience. She is particularly interested in management of chronic medical conditions (eg asthma, diabetes), skin cancer detection, travel medicine and student health. 

Dr Deborah Taft

Deb is an experienced general practitioner with a broad range of interests including Women’s Health. Her particular speciality is Travel Medicine, and she has attended medical conferences overseas.

Dr Nicholas Him

Nick is a qualified specialist in General Practice who has also previously completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. His professional interests include chronic disease management, children’s and men’s health. Nick believes in a holistic approach to health and in shared partnerships with patients and carers to achieve optimal health outcomes. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, travel and learning new languages. Nick also speaks Khmer and conversational Mandarin.

Dr Lynn Nguyen

Lynn completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne and holds a specialist qualification in General Practice.

 

She loves the immense variety that general practice has to offer & has a keen interest in women’s health & the management of chronic diseases. Prior to her medical degree she worked as a qualified pharmacist.

 

In her spare time she loves to travel & catch up on the latest movies!

Dr Gihan Jayaweera

Gihan or ‘Dr G’, is a GP with a passion for many things. For those who are suffering with their mental health, he offers counselling sessions under mental health care plans or extended consultations. For those who are looking to prevent chronic disease (e.g. heart disease, diabetes, strokes, obesity), he takes an approach that prioritises lifestyle change (e.g. diet, exercise, sleep, stress management) over prescriptions. He also has a massive spot for
the ageing population and children. 

Alongside his GP practice, he is a speaker, mentor and coach who works with individuals and organisations to master the intersection of the 3 H’s – Happiness, Health and High Performance. He is also the co-host of the ‘Solve for Greatness’ podcast. Find more about his work at drgihan.com.

Dr Laura Chen

Laura is a qualified GP specialist with a passion for preventative health and holistic wellbeing. She partners with her patients to identify and achieve their health goals.

 

Her interests include chronic disease management, weight management, and women’s health.

 

She is also experienced in skin cancer detection, including skin checks and minor skin procedures.

Dr Braden Poole (Registrar)

Braden has spent the last 2 years working in hospitals across both regional and metropolitan Victoria following the completion of his medical studies at the University of Melbourne. He is now undertaking his GP training and is looking forward to gaining experience in a wide range of areas within the field of general practice.

In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym as well as cheering on his beloved Collingwood Magpies in the AFL.

Dr Monika Coha
(Registrar)

MBBS BSc

Dr Monika Coha completed her studies at Deakin University and the University of Queensland. She has spent the last 3 years working across metropolitan and regional hospitals, including the Royal Children’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg. She has a special interest in Women’s Health, for which she has completed additional training, and is passionate about working with patients to support and empower them throughout their healthcare journey.

In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her Labrador (Beans) and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Jordan Crawford (Registrar)

Jordan completed her Doctor of Medicine at The University of Melbourne in 2019, then gained experience across a range of health disciplines in different metropolitan hospitals before commencing her GP training. She has also completed a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Public Health. Jordan’s special interests include children’s health, aged care and chronic disease prevention/management. She is passionate about health promotion and takes a holistic approach, incorporating lifestyle changes alongside medical interventions to help her patients achieve the best possible health outcomes. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys walking, yoga, and trying out new recipes on her family!

Dr Dulshani Tharika Sudurikku (Registrar)

Dr Dulshani Tharika Sudurikku (Dr Tharika) graduated from Monash University in 2016 and worked at Monash Health before commencing GP training. She has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program. Her special interests are in paediatrics, adolescent medicine, women’s health and chronic disease management. She is also fluent in Sinhalese. Dr Tharika likes to do creative projects and travel in her spare time.

Dr Mark Francis (Registrar)

Mark has a keen interest in general practice, with particular interest in chronic disease management.

 

He previously completed a Doctor of Medicine from Griffith University and has worked in hospitals in areas such as emergency medicine, mental health, and COVID-19 pandemic response. 

 

Prior to his medical degree he completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University and undertook pharmacology research.

In his spare time he enjoys films and travel.

Dr Roslyn Quill

Ros is an experienced general practitioner with an interest in all areas. She has had several years of experience in the government health service in the areas of Occupational and Travel Medicine.
